The revel magazine, founded in 2022 is a digital publication at the crossroad of community and Nigerian culture. Our vision is to unapologetically serve unbiased truth in media and to be a hub for individuals interested in Nigerian media, society and community.

ANGEL DESMOND
FOUNDER, EDITOR-IN-CHIEF AND CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Angel Desmond is writer, an all-round creative and the founder of The Revel magazine. She works actively as the Editor-in-Chief and the Creative Director of The Revel Magazine where she (by the grace of God) leads her team to bring to life the visions of this brand that was birthed from the hallways of her university dormitory. When she's off the clock, one would usually find her creating content (graphics and videos), binge-watching shows and scrolling through the internet, reading (be it literature or the word of God), or worshipping God. God and Religion: A review

'Religion na nonsense!!!'.  The first time I heard this was in the early days of my service at Mr. D.J.'s (he is not a DJ) company, and honestly, I was quite taken aback by the statement. I believe at the time I had plenty of reasons for being appalled and alarmed that I can't really put into words, but the more understandable ones were: my walk with Christ had just started to gain serious fervency when I came in contact with him—or rather his audacious statement. In moments when he'd make statements like these, I'd feel like the man was sent by the devil to derail me from the holy path.
