In a matter of weeks since the beginning of 2023, we have seen the Nigerian federal government issue monetary policies intended to 'combat' corruption and to 'create' a base for free, fair and credible elections, riots from unhappy parties, hunger, strife and agitation in the land. Interestingly, we have also witnessed an awakening of the Nigerian people to politics, demanding a no-nonsense, fail proof system of government.
